GIANT DOG TURD wreaks havoc at Swiss museum

A giant inflatable dog turd, yes, a giant dog turd by American artist Paul McCarthy was exhibited in the garden of the Paul Klee Center, a Swiss museum in Bern.  In 2008, the giant turd actually blew away from the museum, brought down a power line and broke a greenhouse window before it landed again.
The art work titled "Complex Shit" is the size of a house. The wind carried it 200 yards from the museum before it fell back to Earth. The art work has a safety system which normally makes it deflate when there is a storm, but this did not work when it blew away.

PAUL KLEE CENTER

The Paul Klee Center, which opened in 2005, is dedicated to the person, life and work of Paul Klee (1879–1940). It houses the worldwide largest collection of Klee's work. The "hills" contain exhibition space, a music and event hall, a children's museum as well as meeting and seminar rooms.
